All my sounds were created for a motioncomic i created called: kay & gojiah. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I recorded several owl-call hoots using a quaker boy owl hooter and gobbler locator. I recorded this file on a tascam dr-100mkii using an mxl r144 ribbon microphone.
Recording (august 2011) at rio de janeiro airport (antónio carlos jobim, aka galeão airport) of the automatic flight call announcement which is known for its "sexy" prerecorded female voice (supposedly recorded back in the 70s!).
The friday call to prayer in the old city of jerusalem recorded from the mount of olives. I only had a cheap digital audio recorder with me and processed the file using audition noise reduction tools. For uploading the file was compressed using quicktime. It's attenuated but i kind of like it.
